Born and raised Orange County then moved up north for a change of scenery and to attend UC Santa Cruz. I'd say last semester of my senior year was one of the most pivotal experience of my life. I had the most unbelievable life changing experience leaving California and the U.S. for the first time to study and live in Siena, Italy. I always knew I was waiting for that kind of experience and welcomed all opportunities to learn about myself and others. I had waited what seemed like most of my existence to discover that spark of life that has only turned into a flame that continues to burn. Since my first experience outside of the country in 2009, I have traveled to 13 countries and have had the most unforgettable moments and learned so much. It's my goal to always seek the things that make me feel passionate about life, and travel is a great way to do that! Now that I've earned my degree, it's time to keep moving on to big and better things right? Well what I really want to do is travel, but until then I'm trying to implement my education at my university and abroad to really incorporate travel and cultural exchanges into my life anyway I can. With that said, I'm also an intern for CultureZest, it's a non-profit organization that actually promotes micro-tourism and encourages cultural and community building. It's a great concept and I hope that I can take part in their aspirations in making travel the afflatus of our cultural experiences all around the world!
